Moon Star Kitchen and Bar is an elevated cocktail bar that also focuses on wine, whiskey and shareable dishes. With a curated cocktail program and a menu of refined small plates, we aim to provide exceptional service and memorable guest experiences. 

Now hiring barbacks for a high-volume cocktail bar with a strong focus on craft cocktails, guest experience, and team culture.

Key Responsibilities

Guest Service

• Greet guests warmly as they arrive at the bar area.
• Provide menus and water to guests promptly.
• Assist with maintaining a welcoming and attentive atmosphere.
• Assist in clearing glassware and resetting guest areas as needed.
• Keep the bar fully stocked throughout service, including liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, ice, and supplies.
• Replenish inventory from storage areas as needed.
• Prepare and restock garnishes, juices, syrups, and cocktail ingredients and batches.
• Change kegs and assist with draft beer maintenance.
• Wash and polish glassware.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional bar environment at all times.
• Remove trash, cardboard, and recycling throughout shifts.
• Complete opening, running, and closing side work.
• Deliver drinks to tables as needed e.g. when servers are busy at other tables.

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Strong attention to detail and sense of urgency.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods.
• Availability to work Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays. 
• Previous cocktail bar experience is preferred but not required.
• Dependable, punctual, and committed to providing outstanding guest experiences.
