Role Overview :
The Department of Workforce Development (DWD) is hiring a Communication Strategist to support the advancement of the organization's outreach to its community. The role reports to the Director of Communications within the Marketing and Communications team. This role will develop and implement strategic content and programs to communicate ongoing activities at DWD both internally and externally. This individual is expected to help monitor media coverage, social media, and general communication plans across teams within DWD. In addition, the role will rely on excellent written and verbal communication skills to cover needs, including press release and article creation and presentation.
Salary Statement :
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $53,222.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
