About the Role:

Kuncie is seeking a talented and enthusiastic Product Designer INTERN to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the design of intuitive and effective user experiences for our education platform. You will work closely with the product team, developers, and stakeholders to translate user needs and business goals into compelling and user-friendly interfaces. This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career designer to grow their skills and make a significant impact in the ed-tech space.

Main Requirements:

  1. Open to graduates from various educational backgrounds  

  2. Understands the basic principles of UI/UX design and product design  

  3. Able to identify and design user flows in a coherent and systematic manner  

  4. Good visual design skills to create attractive and functional interfaces  

  5. Familiar with Figma as the primary tool for wireframing, prototyping, and design  

  6. Experience using Miro for brainstorming and user journey mapping  

  7. Good collaboration skills with the product team, developers, and stakeholders  

Requirements

Technical Skills:

  1. Proficient in Figma for creating wireframes, prototypes, and design systems  
  2. Experience using Miro for visual collaboration  
  3. Familiar with collaboration tools such as Discord, Notion, or Google Workspace  
  4. Understanding of responsive design and a mobile-first approach

Additional Skills (Bonus):

  1. Experience or knowledge of design research  
  2. Basic knowledge of education and e-learning principles  
  3. Graphic design skills (illustration, icon design, visual branding)  

Soft Skills:

  1. Critical thinking and problem-solving skills  
  2. Able to receive feedback and apply it in design iterations  
  3. Good communication skills to present ideas and concepts  
  4. Able to work effectively in a team  
  5. Has a desire to continuously learn and develop skills  

Experience & Portfolio:

  1. 0-2 years of experience in product design or UI/UX  
  2. Internship, certification course, bootcamp, or relevant personal project experience will be considered  

Candidates are expected to include a portfolio demonstrating:

  1. Examples of UI/UX projects (can be case studies or personal projects)  
  2. The design process from start to finish  
  3. Visual design skills  
  4. Examples of wireframes and prototypes
