Under close supervision, you'll learn to safely rig, ascend, descend, and maneuver on ropes to perform inspections, maintenance, and installations in high-access environments.

Training & Development

Participate in a formal IRATA- or SPRAT-accredited rope access training program.

Attend classroom and hands-on workshops covering fundamentals: knot tying, rope systems, anchor installation, fall arrest, rescue techniques, and equipment inspection.

Complete all written assessments and practical evaluations to progress through trainee levels.

On-the-Job Support

Assist experienced rope access technicians with setup and breakdown of rope systems.

Help carry, inspect, and maintain personal protective and rope access equipment.

Observe and learn safe work procedures, risk assessments, and method statements.

Shadow daily rope access operations such as façade inspection, welding, painting, or structural repairs.

Safety & Compliance

Comply with all company and client safety policies, including wearing appropriate PPE at all times.

Report any hazards, near-misses, or incidents promptly to supervisors.

Maintain training records, certification logs, and equipment inspection tags.

Maintain clear MVR.

This role requires flexibility with out-of-town assignments.

Ongoing compliance with background check requirements and possession of a valid passport required.

Team Collaboration

Communicate clearly with rope access teams, riggers, scaffolders, and site supervisors.

Support ground-based tasks, including tool handling, material transfer, and site housekeeping.

Foster a positive, safety-first culture by demonstrating reliability, punctuality, and a willingness to learn.

Assist technicians with job planning, risk assessments, and Job Safety Analysis (JSA/JHA).
