You'll shape and deploy business strategies while fostering a high-performing culture and driving organizational effectiveness. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (Operations, Talent Management, and Labor Relations), coach leaders to build strong teams, ensure compliance with employment laws, and much more."
We’ll look to you for:
Driving change programs, organizational effectiveness, high-performance culture, and supporting bids and projects. ,
Acting as 2nd chair negotiator and lead negotiator (as needed) for all labor contracts within the assigned business area, including all pre, during, and post activities. ,
Analyzing the current organizational capabilities to deliver the business strategy and identifying and acting on gaps versus required capabilities. ,
Supporting business leaders in all talent activities, ensuring the right talent is in the right place at the right time, and coaching leaders on talent-related tools and strategies. ,
Supporting talent reviews, competency assessments, identification and mobilization of high potentials, performance management, individual action plans, resource and succession planning, recruitment, and onboarding. ,
Analyzing current staffing, forecasting future needs, and developing strategies to ensure skilled employees are in place at the right time while optimizing resource and talent allocations. ,
Supervising two Human Resources Business Partners and an International Intern (VIE). ,
Supporting leadership development on-site to ensure management delivers on commitments, mobilizes teams, and drives business strategy while adhering to the Code of Ethics. ,
Leveraging best practices, sharing knowledge, and ensuring efficient and effective interfaces with HR Ops. ,
Ensuring legal compliance with all local, state, and federal employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, and New York-specific leave laws, to minimize organizational risk/exposure.

Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Business, Psychology, or other relevant fields. ,
Experience or understanding of handling grievance processes, collective bargaining agreements, and labor union relationships. ,
Familiarity with local, state, and federal employment laws, including FLSA, FMLA, ADAAA, and New York-specific leave laws. ,
Knowledge of HR and People Strategies, People Management, and labor relations in a unionized environment. ,
Certifications for Human Resources Professionals (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP). ,
Experience with HR software (e.g., ADP, Kronos, WFM) is an asset. ,
Proven ability to lead and develop teams, including prior supervisory experience managing Human Resources Business Partners. ,
Analytical and strategic thinking skills to identify organizational capability gaps and develop actionable solutions. ,
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products, especially Excel, and experience with data manipulation related to manpower planning. ,
Strong communication skills in English (spoken and written).
