Job Description

Salary: $72,000 - 93,000 per year Requirements:

  • We require a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a closely related discipline; an advanced degree is preferred.
  • We are looking for 10+ years of experience in an engineering environment, or 8+ years with an advanced degree.
  • We require at least 5 years of experience in systems integration.
  • We value experience with requirements specifications, verification activities, and the development and execution of test cases.
  • We prefer familiarity with compliance testing.
  • We need strong multidiscipline troubleshooting skills to isolate and determine root causes of technical issues.
  • We expect excellent technical writing ability.
  • We need strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • We are seeking a proactive team player who can thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative setting.
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis.
Responsibilities:
  • We work across engineering disciplines and with product management to support new product development and system integration.
  • We develop and document CONOPS for how our products will be used in the field.
  • We define, analyze, and document baseline requirements, including customer and system needs, as well as derived and decomposed requirements for electrical, mechanical, and software subsystems.
  • We drive rapid prototyping by owning design, modeling, and implementation for new capabilities.
  • We prepare engineering integration documents, including test plans, descriptions, and procedures.
  • We create effective feature integration and verification plans.
  • We collaborate with development teams on system design, including use cases, user stories, preliminary and detailed design, architecture, and internal and external interfaces.
  • We provide feedback to developers on requirements clarity and testability.
  • We develop, document, and execute test plans and procedures across all testing stages, from integration through full system integration testing.
  • We define verification and validation approaches.
  • We lead risk management activities for the product.
  • We participate in and prepare materials for technical reviews and other technical exchange meetings.
  • We recommend and implement process improvements to strengthen testing methods, including opportunities for automation.
  • We collaborate with cross-functional professionals to ensure high-quality deliverables and support the transition from development to production in line with our organizational standards and procedures.
