Andaz Miami Beach Resort and Spa is now recruiting a Spa Supervisor to join the hotel's team. An art-deco building and architectural landmark is home to the newest luxury lifestyle hotel located in the heart of Mid-beach. The property boasts 287 guestrooms including 64 breathtaking suites and the ONLY Ocean-view arrival experience in Miami Beach. The design features elements of texture, art, and pops of color that create a unique and captivating experience. Each suite is designed with floor-to-ceiling windows, most with deep-soaking tubs, and cozy reading nooks. Guests can also enjoy private outdoor terraces with stunning views of the Atlantic and the Miami skyline. Unmatched amenities include a full-service spa, a well-equipped fitness center, a destination dining experience by José Andrés, two pools, and a Beach Club catering to the who's who of Miami. Spanning 25,000 square feet of innovative indoor and outdoor event space, Andaz Miami Beach will become a landing spot for guests and locals seeking celebratory gatherings that embrace the city's culture of music, art, and fashion.
Position Summary The Spa Supervisor is responsible for checking in guests at our Spa, scheduling and managing appointments and maintaining cleanliness of the spa facility including locker rooms, quiet lounge and pool deck. Acting as a liaison between guests, spa management and other departments of the resort when necessary. The Spa Supervisor must provide quality guest service experience and maintain a positive work environment for spa staff. The Spa Supervisor is also responsible for training, developing and coaching of existing and new team members.
Qualifications • A supervisor is responsible for thedelivery of exceptional service
• Train, Develop and coach current and new Spa Coordinators & Spa Attendants.
• Ensuring the highest standards of safety, professionalism, and administration are maintained.
• Maintain the Spa area to ensure the needs of our hotel and spa guests are met.
• Promoting the Spa, its services, facilities, policies and ethics at all times.
• Able to respond to individual guest needs and adhere to company standards
• Must possess attention to detail and a high standard for cleanliness.
• Capable of dealing with stressful situations calmly and professionally.
• Proficient with computers, particularly Microsoft Office products such as Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Experience with Book4Time a plus.
• Must be able to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Flexible availability including evenings, weekends and holidays is required.
• Display professional demeanor and appearance at all times.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Maintains a positive attitude and takes initiative to get the job done.
• Supportiveteam player that is eager to learn and to share knowledge and skills.
