Registered Nurse – Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) in San Luis Obispo, California. Start date 08/17/2026 for an 8-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range is $2,294 to $2,447 per week. Responsibilities
- Provide and coordinate skilled nursing care for neonates in the NICU on assigned shifts.
- Conduct care planning, administer medications, monitor physiological changes, and address psychosocial needs of neonates.
- Engage in patient and family education, supporting their understanding of care plans and discharge considerations.
- Supervise and delegate appropriate tasks to ancillary personnel in line with scope of practice.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure timely updates to care plans and documentation.
- Cross-train and be prepared to float to pediatric units as needed to support clinical operations.

Requirements
- Active California Registered Nurse license
- NICU or neonatal care experience preferred
- Ability to work days with 12-hour shifts in an NICU environment
- Strong clinical assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
- Willingness to work in an inpatient NICU setting and adhere to unit policies
