Job Description

JOB DESCRIPTION

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Clean, repair, test, install, and maintain NOV WFL Brand products at NOV Service Facility(s) and occasionally customer facilities.
  • Communicate product failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.
  • Provide supporting documentation per NOV WFL procedures.
  • Complete and submit work pack documentation in a timely manner.
  • Service and repair of customer property items relating to the WFL Aftermarket business unit.
  • Carry out all duties in accordance with the QA procedures and departmental work instructions.
  • Ensure all work performed is in a quality minded, tidy & accurate manner, prepare all surfaces and components as necessary to ensure no damage occurs during assembly and testing.
  • Actively participate in training as identified by the Service Manager.
  • Engage in additional job activities as requested by the Service Manager/Supervisor.
  • Disassemble equipment to remove parts and effect repairs.
  • Request parts as required including fabricated parts, install all parts according to instructions given, knowledge of item being assembled and/or following drawings, as required, including needed adjustments and alignment.
  • Function test repaired equipment to ensure it works to full specification.
  • Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a clean & organized work area, utilize safe work habits.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 3 years' experience with the operation and/or maintenance of Wireline Winch units (land and offshore) required.
  • Must have experience with the service, repair, and maintenance of Wireline winch units.
  • Computer proficiency/experience required - Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
  • Knowledge of both rig and completion well site operations a plus.
  • Electrical, Pneumatic and hydraulic background is a plus.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
  • Valid driver's license required - as you will be operating a company vehicle (only as required).
  • Must be willing & able to work overtime as required & an on-call schedule.
  • Standard work schedule is 5 day/week, M-F 8am-5pm
  • Operation of overhead cranes and forklifts, etc. as required.
  • Ability to read and apply assembly drawings/procedures.
  • Must be able to work in factory environment which may include but are not limited to: high noise level, vibration, fumes, dust, and odors.
  • Working conditions may be inside and outside with extreme temperatures.
  • Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
  • Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
