Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES - Clean, repair, test, install, and maintain NOV WFL Brand products at NOV Service Facility(s) and occasionally customer facilities.
- Communicate product failures and feedback reports to the appropriate departments.
- Provide supporting documentation per NOV WFL procedures.
- Complete and submit work pack documentation in a timely manner.
- Service and repair of customer property items relating to the WFL Aftermarket business unit.
- Carry out all duties in accordance with the QA procedures and departmental work instructions.
- Ensure all work performed is in a quality minded, tidy & accurate manner, prepare all surfaces and components as necessary to ensure no damage occurs during assembly and testing.
- Actively participate in training as identified by the Service Manager.
- Engage in additional job activities as requested by the Service Manager/Supervisor.
- Disassemble equipment to remove parts and effect repairs.
- Request parts as required including fabricated parts, install all parts according to instructions given, knowledge of item being assembled and/or following drawings, as required, including needed adjustments and alignment.
- Function test repaired equipment to ensure it works to full specification.
- Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures.
- Maintain a clean & organized work area, utilize safe work habits.
- Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS - Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3 years' experience with the operation and/or maintenance of Wireline Winch units (land and offshore) required.
- Must have experience with the service, repair, and maintenance of Wireline winch units.
- Computer proficiency/experience required - Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications i.e. Word, Excel, Teams, etc.
- Knowledge of both rig and completion well site operations a plus.
- Electrical, Pneumatic and hydraulic background is a plus.
JOB REQUIREMENTS - Ability to pass a drug screen & background check.
- Valid driver's license required - as you will be operating a company vehicle (only as required).
- Must be willing & able to work overtime as required & an on-call schedule.
- Standard work schedule is 5 day/week, M-F 8am-5pm
- Operation of overhead cranes and forklifts, etc. as required.
- Ability to read and apply assembly drawings/procedures.
- Must be able to work in factory environment which may include but are not limited to: high noise level, vibration, fumes, dust, and odors.
- Working conditions may be inside and outside with extreme temperatures.
- Strong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to comply with all safety regulations and procedures.
- Ability to multitask in fast paced environment.
- Ability to adapt and be cross-trained to learn all job duties.
